Advertisement by P. S. Duval & Son chromolithographes representing an example of their work. The subject matter of flowers and angels, with the blond-haired angel carrying a basket with the caption "Wisdom is its own reward," and the sleeping brown-haired child under which is written, "The Dream of Heaven," seems excessively sentimental today. The art work is signed in very small letters by [James] Queen in the lower left corner. In larger letters that are still somewhat difficult to read Duval states, "Al Works appretaining to the various branchs of Lithographic Drawing, Engraving, Transfering, Printing, Plain and in Colors are executed in this Establishment in the best style of the Art."
