In January 1998 Eddie Dombrower, game designer, director of interactive entertainment design at Jim Henson Productions, published the Art of Interactive Entertainment Design through Computing McGraw-Hill. Among the features of this book was a CD with software. When I wrote this entry in September 2020 the CD had become an obsolete data format, though they were still playable on DVD players that some people then still owned.
