On April 26, 1882 an individual working at the Steubenville, Ohio Daily and Weekly Herald, whose name is illegible, wrote a letter to his aunt sending her $5.00. What is most interesting in 2021 about this mundane piece of correspondence is the newspaper stationery used and especially the printed pink envelope that showed the building housing the newspaper, its blank book manufactory, book bindery, and printing office.
