In 1880 Max and Rudolf Zocher founded M & R Zocher, a bookshop and stationery store in Dresden. They also operated a mechanized book printing shop and bookbindery on the premises. The small card case in my collection, which presumably dates from around 1885 to 1895, illustrates their various facilities in their initial building. A receipt from the company dated 1926 shows that the business grew into larger facilities in the 20th century.
